Hot Wheels are all about the cars and doing a craft is a must have at a party. A fun party idea is to make race cars out of gum and candy. This is easily done by assembling a large pack of gum, small peanut butter cups and mini candy bars. The large gum pack is the body of the car, the mini candy bars make up the front headlights and the rear spoiler of the car while the peanut butter cups (or other rounded candy) make up the wheels. In order to get them to stick on well you can use a low heat glue gun.

The allure of Hot Wheels is to race the cars. The idea behind this game is to create a Hot Wheels Race Course (obstacle course) for your guests. In order to make the game most effective, use your imagination and have something for each guest to wear that distinguishes them from each other (could be different colored shirts).
Set the obstacle course up with items that pertain to race tracks and Hot Wheels cars. A good use of black and white checkered colored flags is always welcome. You can also use old tires to run through, pop up play tents and huts to drive through and make shift wheels to navigate with. The choices are endless and the more creative you make it the better it will be. Do not forget bridges, water areas and more! The person who completes the course first wins. They will do this for hours!
