Shrek Party Game Ideas
Princess Fiona Rescue: The goal of the game is to find princess Fiona and rescue her.
Setup:
1. Princess Doll
2. Index cards with clues written on them
3. Candies
Playing:
First you will give the group of children an index card that has a clue on it for the next clue. They will follow the clues as they get closer to finding Princess Fiona. At each clue, have pieces of candy or some prize to keep them going. You can make two teams in order to make it more enticing to get to the princess before the other team. When the children are approaching their last clue, make a candy trail to the princess. The first person to reach Princess Fiona and rescue her wins the game.
Make the hunt more effective by making 7-10 clues. Utilize a larger space where they have to travel around to different areas of the event and use their minds.

Shrek Tag: In this game, one person will be Shrek and the other people will be swamp creatures. The goal of the game is for Shrek to tag a swamp creature.
Setup:
1. Shrek headpiece made out of paper or purchased.
2. Music
Playing:
Before the children start to play, have rules in place that lay out the swamp grounds. This is the only area where they can run about in. Also, distinguish a safe spot for children to rest. Another rule would be that Shrek cannot hang around the safe spot for more than 30 seconds at a time.
The person who is Shrek will wear the Shrek hat and try to catch a swamp creature. When they tag a person, the person that was tagged then becomes Shrek and chases the others. Keep music playing to keep the children motivated and active.
