Star Wars Parties Use the Force for Fun! Perhaps no movie franchise is more recognizable than Star Wars. Introduced by director George Lucas in 1977, the franchise now includes 6 major motion pictures, several spin off movies and television series, dozens of video games and possibly the largest assembly of merchandised material ever. So, wouldn’t a Star Wars party be a natural choice for a themed party?

A great Star Wars themed cake would be a Death Star cake. Simply print off a picture of the famous Death Star from the movies and ice with gray icing to decorate. Black piping can be added to show details. The shaping couldn’t be easier. Simply bake a circular cake and you have a perfect Death Star shape! With the public awareness of Star Wars and the countless spin offs from that first movie in 1977, Star Wars makes for a great party theme. Be sure to tailor the beverages and games for the age of your guests, but more importantly, be sure to have fun!
