Super Bowl Party

The name Super Bowl came from Lamar Hunt, architect of the AFL and owner of the Kansas City Chiefs. He found a ball in his daughter's room called a Super Ball and it inspired him to name the championship game between the American Football league and National Football league the "Super Bowl." The first Super Bowl was played on January 14, 1968 between Vince Lombardi's Green Bay Packers and Hank Strass's Chief's.
